Teak Oil is suitable for indoor and outdoor use, such as furniture and exotic wooden floors. Hardwoods are very durable and contain high levels of natural oils. This makes hardwood furniture weather resistant and they can be left outdoors over winter if indoors storage is not possible. Keep your golden-brown teak furniture looking like new with Teak Oil, or let your furniture age naturally. As wood ages, it takes on a silvery-grey patina look (when affected by the weather). You can preserve this appearance by using transparent Teak Oil. The bottle is user-friendly so the oil is easy to dose and apply.
HOW TO: Teak oil is not suitable for varnished or painted surfaces. Clean varnishes, paints, etc. from the surfaces to be treated. Teak oil does not need to be thinned. Stir well before and during use. Apply the oil in thin layers with a brush or cloth and allow to absorb. Allow the oil to soak for about 30 minutes and then wipe off any unabsorbed excess oil. Wood surfaces are sanded and re-treated. The wood should be treated 2-4 times depending on the quality of the wood surface and the intended use. Handle the end surfaces of the wood with special care. Allow the wood to dry for 24 hours and your furniture is ready to use. Clean tools with white spirit immediately after use. If necessary, a new surface treatment will be applied after one year.
